**Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role**:
The Philippines Country Manager is the most senior role within the company and is, therefore, most responsible for the performance of all departments, functions and provision of services offered.
It's the Philippines Country Manager's job to ensure the whole company is efficiently utilizing available resources and acting fiscally and legally responsible within the Philippines for the benefit of the larger International Group and Directors.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Oversee the management of all departments, including the Operations and Customer Service department, the Sales department, and the Accounts/HR/Proc.

Take responsibility for both successes and failures of the whole company.
Report directly to the Southeast Asia General Manager on a weekly basis and/or immediately for those more important matters.
Ensure the company achieves revenue growth and is profitable over the mid to long-term, and provide the Southeast Asia General Manager with monthly P&L reports.
As the most senior role, the Country Manager must also liaise and cooperate with other inter-group managers to ensure uniformity of the offering.
To liaise and develop local agents within the freight forwarding industry.
Ensure all subordinate staff members are achieving their potential to ensure maximum contribution to the company.
Oversee provision of services offered by the company, ensuring they exceed customers' expectations and needs.
Conduct annual appraisals of all staff.
Follow any other instructions given by the company's Senior Management.
**Skills/Qualifications**:
A bachelor's degree
Strong business development experience in the freight forwarding industry (preferably air freight)
Experience in international air freight is highly advantageous
Can be from courier/logistics / supply chain
With at least 2-3 years of experience in general management
Strong business development experience in freight forwarding (especially air freight) with a high potential to be general manager
