Cost Accounting Supervisor

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting on behalf of a Japanese manufacturing company, established in 1996, producing magnetic heads.
The Cost Accounting Supervisor will handle the Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Budget Preparation & Profit & Loss Analysis of the organisation.
Job responsibilities:
Analysing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost
Analysing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
Analysing audits of costs and preparing reports
Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity, such as raw material purchases, inventory and labour costs
Analysing collected data and recording results
Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
Maintaining the Cost Accounting System
Assisting in month-end closing of the General Ledger
Conducting physical inventories and monitoring cycle count programs
Reconciling finished goods inventories
Job requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or any related course
At least 5 years of working experience as Cost Accounting Supervisor from a manufacturing company
Must have a strong Cost Systems background, and have excellent analytical skills with sound understanding of accounting principals
Well-versed in using SAP Accounting software
Willing to work in Binan, Laguna
