Job Description:
A copywriter works directly below a copywriter or Associate Creative Director. They are responsible for generating stand-alone copy, or text to complement visual concepts created by an art director, across many digital platforms and marketing material, including but not limited to: social media, articles, videos, etc.



A copywriter will be expected to develop their skills for writing to expand and improve. They will also be required to develop engaging concepts that fulfill client requirements and expectations.



The role involves using feedback from colleagues to sharpen writing skills and create finished pieces that attract and persuade, and tell a story.



All copy created by a copywriter needs to be interesting, while adhering to the objectives of the project, staying within brief and being completely grammatically accurate.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice Edit and proofread copy as needed Source images and other content as necessary Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and develop creative campaigns or tactical material strategically aligned to the brief Conceptualize and execute strategically aligned ideas in branded content Create entertaining, and engaging stories Attend presentations and shoots as necessary Minimum Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: Must be a strong storyteller with sharp wit, a good sense of humor, and detail-oriented. Must be highly creative and imaginative. Should have an interest in commerce, pop culture, and new advertising trends and techniques. Must have a curious mind with an inquisitive nature and a broad range of interests. A team player with a collaborative spirit, willing and able to deliver beyond what is expected. Must be able to work independently with time-management and organizational skills. Must have a positive work ethic. Grace to work under pressure is a plus. Must have at least 2 years work experience. Knowledge of online content strategy and creation Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines Exceptional skill with the nuances of social media writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis, and acronyms is a plus Solid understanding of SEO concepts preferred
