Compliance And Labor Relations Officer

Qualifications:
Graduate of 4 or 5 year course preferably Engineering or Nursing.
Preferably a registered First Aider and BOSH (Safety Officer) accredited.
At least 3 solid years of experience in the field of Health / Safety and/or Labor Relations preferably in a Manufacturing Industry.
With work related experience in Labor Relations handling administrative cases and DOLE inspection
Knowledgeable in General Labor Standards, Occupational Health and Safety (OSH), and Security Compliance i.e. SCAN and C-TPAT.
Excellent in both written and oral communication i.e. provides training, write and updates policies and procedures, etc.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program;
Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them;
Monitoring of social, security, and environmental compliance with company the set of standard;
Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify improvements;
Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk;
Collaborate with Management and HR when needed;
Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation;
Resolves employee issue by conducting investigations, interviews and gathering of related documents to minimize the negative impact of employee grievances and to resolve disputes;
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer;
Experience in risk management;
Knowledge of legal requirements and controls;
Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards;
With Integrity and professional ethics;
Teamwork skills;
Attention to details.
