The Communications Officer will help accelerate the environmental conservation mission and vision of Masungi Georeserve Foundation through creative, effective and meaningful content, campaigns, events, and partnerships. We like original, thoughtful and values-oriented approach to communications.
She or he will help lead overall communications and revenue-generating efforts of Masungi's projects, apart from other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.

Sample tasks:
Creating, distributing and managing content and select advertisements through social media channels, newsletters, media releases, and other creative channels focused on environmental conservation & driving trail visitation through intelligentlly crafted strategies and insights Creating and implementing educational or environmental events and special projects with partner organizations to mainstream conservation, sustainable tourism, and other advocacies in the Philippines Produce educational and information materials to further the campaigns of the organisation targeted to local communities, stakeholders, policy-makers and decision-makers Note: The role is primarily based in Quezon City but will travel to the georeserve in Baras, Rizal (1.5 hours from the city) during relevant events and meetings. Due to the tourism aspect of the organization, he or she may also be required to report to work on weekends during special events and communications needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Has an understanding and appreciation of the Philippines' unique environmental conservation realities, and a desire to create an impact in this field; A flair for storytelling through excellent writing and producing multimedia content; Marketing, branding, external relations and project management skills; Experience in basics of digital marketing and search engine optimisation; Entrepreneurial and creative mindset; Strong leadership abilities; Can work independently with minimal supervision; Technical skills in photography, videography, graphic design, directing are a plus but not required; Physically fit and enjoys regularly working with nature and the outdoors; This role is ideal for those with 1 - 2 years of relevant experience.
