This position is located at our Capitol Branch, 3001 N Lincoln Blvd, OKC, OK 73105.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide outstanding member service and contribute to overall team effort.
Fully understand and actively assist members in using credit union products and services.
Contact delinquent accounts to request payment, record promises on accounts and schedule follow-up contact.
Notify co-signers of delinquent accounts to assist in collecting payments.
Skip-trace accounts according to established practices.
Prepare correspondence on delinquent accounts that require special handling.
Research disputed delinquent account balances; correct any errors, including misapplied payments, reversed late charges, direct deposit errors, and over-payments from insurance errors.
Provide assistance to the phone center with member calls as requested.
Ensure confidentiality regarding member transactions and information.
Ensure compliance with all credit union policies and procedures.
HOURS:
Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, every other Saturday from 8:45 am to 1:00 pm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience
Six months of collections or financial institution experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
