Collection Officer

Duties and Responsibilities
Actively participates in the identification and implementation of strategies and action plans needed to meet departmental targets.
Studies and understands comprehensively the billing and payment contract provisions of all accounts assigned.
Monitors own performance against assigned targets and in compliance with company policies, procedures and guidelines.
Manages collection of all accounts under him based on company policies, contract provisions, special payment arrangements and collection targets.
Makes analysis and recommendations to Management on matters beyond his/her level of accountability.
Prepares necessary accounting entries on accounts under responsibility and submits it to management for approval.
Attends internal and external meeting to make sure that all receivables are reconciled.
Makes analysis and recommendations to Management on accounts due for suspension

QualificationsMust be University degree graduate
Experience in Customer Service is an advantage
Have knowledge in Basic Accounting and Tax Regulations
Good oral communication skills
Know how to use MS Applications
