About the Role:

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for building and managing the infrastructure for the TiDB Cloud. You will design and implement systems capable of running large-scale, multi-tenant distributed databases that span several cloud providers smoothly.

You will
--Design and implement the TiDB Cloud infrastructure change management automation
--Build a highly available, secure and scalable infrastructure for the distributed system
--Participate in on-call for troubleshooting production issues

You have
--Strong fundamentals indistributed systems designand operation
--Expertise in analyzing, monitoring, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
--Expertise in working with major cloud providers likeAWS, Azure, GCP, etc
--Strong and hands-on experience with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Typescript, Python
--Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS-CDK, Pulumi
--Expertise in Kubernetes and hands-on experience inKubernetes development
--Ability to distill a complex set of requirements into defined deliverables
--Strong communicator with a results-driven attitude
