About the Position
Provide leadership and guidance to a skilled therapeutic team to deliver trauma informed and culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal clients.
Monitor intake as well as assessment, allocations, referrals, advocacy and client case management.
Conduct staff performance appraisals
Identify and address any performance management issues as required.
Contribute to business planning and participate in decision-making processes.
Lead and direct approximately nine employees to achieve organisational objectives.
Participate in senior management meetings.
Develop, implement and review annual team action plans.
Contribute to budget planning and management of resources.

The Successful Candidate will have
A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work.
Minimum 5 years work experience in a related field of work.
Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a therapeutic service, particularly in the areas of family violence and sexual abuse.
Understanding of Aboriginal Terms of Reference and cultural competency.
Ability to lead and build a strong working relationship with staff and clients.
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive and conflicting information.
Current National Police Check
Current Working With Childrens Check
Clean and valid drivers licence.
Ability to travel if required.
