Job Responsibilities:
Assisting our clients in Production
You will be expected to assist our clients in production with their business and technical requests, questions and queries from the Performance, Attribution, Reporting Teams of our clients who are usually big Asset or Wealth managers.
Managed Services
You will be assisting our Managed Services operation to help our clients with their daily operations. As part of this service we provide support on day-to-day technical tasks for seamless process flow. We provide extended support, advice, process optimization and liaise with different teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. We provide support and suggestions on setting up or modifying new processes for better integration and efficient flow, adhering and keeping up with the industry needs and standards.
Implementations
You will be responsible for implementing all different modules of our software: Total Return & Statistics, GIPS, Equity Attribution, Fixed Income Attribution, Client Reporting, etc. The process will follow the project plan and tasks will involve gathering initial requirements, making all the necessary configurations, loading market data and the client’s portfolio data, testing, results reconciliation, training and all the required steps for completion of the implementation according to client requirements.
Specialty Sales activities
You will be taking part in many core components of our Specialty Sales process, supporting the global team in activities including:
Preparation of detailed Proof of Concepts (POC) using prospect data
Creation of Requests for Proposal (RFP) and formalization of a library of standard responses for the use by the global team
Maintenance of the global demonstration environmentAs part of your job you will be:
Responsible for automating a client environment, designing complex workflows, covering the full flow of financial data in our software – data loads, data checks, calculations, data extracts and reporting.
Become familiar with all the functionalities of the product, including the different modules and methodologies but is more focused on its technical aspects such as: System Architecture, Application Server setup, Database and SQL tuning, Web Services.
Working with our global team of sales specialists and consultants, as well as interacting with our clients supporting them in their daily operations
Analyzing and solving complex technical issues related to a client’s technical architecture, processing data, conducting specific investigations, including software testing
Becoming familiar with all the core functionality of the product and understanding the financial logic behind the different modules and financial methodologies
Aptitudes in the below areas will give you an advantage over others, but are not obligatory:
SQL and Database experience
Stored Procedures
Performance tuning of SQL code and database setup
Familiar with some of the major DBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
Linux/Windows System Administration, Networking, Virtual Machines and shell scripting
Application server setup (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly)
Web Services, XML, HTML
Any experience in Financial Reporting, e.g. using BIRT, Vermilion, etc.
Experience with any programming language, e.g. Java, JavaScript
Academic or professional background in finance or experience in the Asset Management Financial industry
Any knowledge of financial products and instruments
Working with Excel and financial formulas
Customer oriented attitude
Technical skills with financial software applications
Speaking other languages than English, e.g. French
