Description

As a Fraud /Disputes Specialist, you will be responsible for reducing losses and completing reasonable investigation on every case for recovery opportunities. Recovery opportunities are achieved in several ways, processing chargebacks, working directly with merchants and reviewing activity with cardholders to identify save opportunities. Processing chargebacks will involve following Visa and MasterCard rules and regulations regarding processing transactions. Utilizing your excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, you will ensure that accounts are credited and debited properly for all charges and that the proper balances are on the appropriate accounts.
As a Fraud /Disputes Specialist, you play a key role in contributing to the profitability of Chase and directly impact our bottom line by retaining valued customers and minimizing losses.
Experience in a target driven high volume environment is a plus in this position. The team is very goal-oriented with individual and team goals being a key factor of success. As a result, teamwork is essential and specialists often assist each other to ensure departmental targets are met. To be successful in this position, you must have a passion for providing quality customer experience and leading with a positive and energized attitude.
Work Schedule: WHEM shift 12x6 schedule (9pm-9am MNL Operating Hrs; Mon-Sat); Work during US/PH Holidays

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year fraud/ Disputes experience (preferably in credit card industry)
• Strong knowledge of Association (Visa/MasterCard) chargeback regulations
• Excellent customer service skills and inquisitive
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Minimal expectation to meet and exceed department and individual Goals
• Basic PC and keyboarding skills and experience within a Windows environment required
• Strong oral and written skills required
• Individual must be a self-starter with a high level of dependability
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail are essential
• Individuals ability to multi-task based off the day’s aging priority is a critical part of the role
• Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus
• Previous credit card service experience preferred
