Chief Engineer

Education level:L graduate of BS Electrical Engineering; must have a PRC license

Communication skills: proficient in verbal and written English

Soft skills:
- solid customer service, speaking, problem-solving, leadership, organizational and managerial skills;
- proven track record in leading a team;
- with strong analytical, communication, and inter-personal skills;
- critical-thinking and reasoning abilities; ability to meet deadlines and multitask;
- need to have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
- administrative and communication skills, such as those associated with giving orders and providing direction to the maintenance staff;
- mentally alert, attentive to details, has good/sound judgment

Technical skills:
- computer literate;
- knowledgeable with the operation and maintenance of generator sets, HVACs, building wiring installation, use of all kinds of electrical equipment, installation of lighting fixtures, devices and panel board etc.;
- with background in Autocad

Experience: preferably with related work experience in a managerial capacity in big companies or hotels

Personality: must be of good moral character

Duties:
- supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel equipment, tools, and facilities;
- handle administrative duties, including interview and training of new maintenance employees, staff schedules, performance review, disciplinary action etc;
- work with contractors to coordinate renovations, remodeling projects and new construction;
- knows how to budget material and labor expenses
