Qualification:
5 years of work experience for the required position (with employment cert / proof of employment)
IELTS passer; or IELTS-exempt (Meaning, with 5 years continuous schooling. For example: 4 years in HS + at least 1 year in college with no gap in between; or a 5-year course with no gap in between)
With experience in cruise lines or kitchen camps in the Mining or Construction Industry
MUST HAVE AN HACCP CERTIFICATE or have undergone HACCP Training (If you already have this, kindly indicate in your CV so we can see it right away. For now, to save time, we will call only those who already have the said certificate).

Diploma / TOR / Form-137 mula High School hanggang College/Vocational

Responsibilities:
Creating menus
Cooking food
Monitoring prep work
Ensuring impeccable presentation and garnishing
Managing food provisions
Ensuring the quality of ingredients and correct food storage
Using and cleaning kitchen equipment
Organizing and supervising work of kitchen staff (e.g. kitchen assistants, dishwashers etc.)
Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations.
Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients
Cook food in a timely manner
Delegate tasks to kitchen staff
Inform wait staff about daily specials
Ensure appealing plate presentation
Supervise Cooks and assist as needed
Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
Monitor food stock and place orders
Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
