Job Description:
OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY BACK-END OPERATIONS Run the day-to-day activities of the department by taking care of back-end procedures DISSEMINATE NEW DIRECTIONS Inform checking department staff of new processes, procedures & promotions; assist cashier during transaction processing when “Manager/Supervisor” function is required MONITOR SHOPPING BAGS & OTHER MATERIALS Monitor completeness shopping bags & other packaging materials so as not to hamper counter operations SCHEDULE WORK SHIFT OF STAFF Assign checkers based on the number of cashiers to be deployed per shift, monitor attendance & manage absences by re-assigning staff MANAGE OPEX Manage the operating budget of the department by ordering the right number of supplies, monitoring use & safekeeping of extra items MANAGE CHECKING STAFF DOCUMENTS Monitor & manage documents of checking staff (serve ANS, issue violation reports, LOARF, Undertime form, etc.) Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any business-related course With at least 1 year experience in bank operations or counter-cashier functions Flexible to be assigned to work schedules supporting the retail operational hours Willing to be assigned in The SM Store - Baguio Full-time positions available
