RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary
The channel producer prepares programming grid;
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists the Channel Head in creative programming and execution for CINEMO CHANNEL.
Manages movie inventory and contracts, monitors runs and coordinate windowing schedule with Content Management Group and other platforms.
Coordinates materials for airing with Integrated Program Acquisitions, Film Archives, or content owners.
Oversees/attends to all editing related concerns (MAMS / CER / iPOST / Film Archives and other related departments).
Supervises editing of content materials / technical troubleshooting / and sees to it that the materials adhere to broadcast standards.
Supervises Program Editors and prepares their weekly schedule.
Coordinates all related ON AIR requirements of the channel such as content / promo plugs / marketing materials.
Monitors competition and prepares/suggests counter programming.
Maintain competitive channel/program ratings.
Assist Channel Head in other channel related activities/events.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Broadcasting courses
·5 to 10 years of relevant experience (such as EP, AP), knows editing
·Video editing and production know-how
·Great content appreciation
·Excellent computer skills including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
·Demonstrated excellence in time management and organizational skills
·Excellent leadership, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
Ability to prioritize and organize work.
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
