Category Departmentis one of the most important teams at Trendyol which is a future-oriented, fast-growing and technology enthusiast company. Category Team plan and coordinate the category sales strategy of the responsible category and ensure profitable growth and long-term development. In the end, we are all working towards the same goal: to create an excellent experience for our customers at Trendyol.
YOUR PROFILE

University degree ideally in an analytical discipline, e.g. engineering or business,
8+ years of Planning, Category, Product Management or Business Intelligence experience,
Experience in Electronics & Home & Lifestyle industries / E-commerce is a plus,
Excellent communication, decision-making, organizational skills and the ability to translate findings into strategic recommendations,
Strong sense of analytical thinking, detail-oriented commercial mindset and eager to learn,
Proven success at building and leading high performing teams,
Able to work within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE

Being a servant leader who is responsible for hiring, motivating and coaching team by providing helpful feedback and training opportunities,
Work closely with Category, Central Planning, Growth, Marketplace teams to achieve commercial and quality targets,
Develop and lead strategy and planning to increase both customer and seller engagement,
Lead weekly category trading meetings, identify root causes and opportunities to drive growth,
Manage forecasting studies based on seasonality and potential growth in line with company KPIs,
Analyse and interpret marketing data such as; view, conversion, search trends and give strategic direction to categoryMonitor consumer and industry trends, present strategic insights in convincing figures,
Improve productivity by seeking out ways to automate and simplify manual processes.
