Graduate of a Carpentry Course or Training or a combination of training and experience equivalent to the employment standard that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Tools and methods of the trade, applicable local building codes.
Minimum of 5 years of carpentry works experience preferably in building Construction Projects.

Job Description:
Knows how to read plans and drawings as per given assignment and instruction compliance to the requirements.
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements.
Can build conventional formwork, window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
Lay out floorings, roofing’s or drywalls ensuring they are levelled and compatible.
Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and install them where designated.
Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance on all Carpentry related Material.
Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
Knowledgeable in all construction formworks conventional and pre-fabricated forms (such as doka, peri, system etc.).
Knows and perform concreting works at any structures for both sub structures and super structures.
