Job Description and Requirements
Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least High School Diploma.
The job requires Female applicants only
Minimum of 3 years working experience is required for this position.
House / private nurse duty
Provide healthcare and comfort to patients at their residences.
Make changes if necessary in in-home nursing care as per physician’s orders.
Evaluate and document physiological, psychological cognitive status of the patients
Plan and implement nutrition-based diet plan for patients in consultation with physicians.
Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers in delivering in-home care to patients
Keep up to date with current trends and knowledge in providing quality healthcare to patients.
Create and initiate innovative solutions that lead to high-quality patient care.
Complete Patient Assessments:
Home nurse make recommendations to the doctor based on patient assessments. She requests additional equipment or services to benefit the client. She also regularly check vital signs and report any problems to the primary physician
Maintain Medical Equipment:
She responsible for its upkeep. She must run and maintain all the medical equipment from drips to respirators. She makes sure everything is clean and in proper working order.
Take Care of Sanitary Needs:
She is responsible for the personal needs of the patient. Especially important for incapacitated patients, the nurse takes care of personal hygiene--bathing, washing hair and keeping the bed clean. In addition, she is responsible for the well-being of the patient on a daily basis.
administer IV medication
Seizure disorder, Tracheostomy, Hospice, Diabetes, Traumatic brain injury care
Taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse and temperature)
Change dressings on wounds, and catheters
Administering medications
Managing intravenous lines (a thin plastic tube inserted into a vein (usually in the patient's forearm) through which a volume of fluid is injected into the bloodstream.)
Observing and monitoring patients' conditions,
Maintaining records and communicating with doctors and family members
