Process Calibration Technician- 2nd shift
The calibration technician’s primary duties are to provide maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting support for facility and manufacturing critical systems. This is done by testing and calibrating electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, analytical and measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards using engineering principles
This is a 2nd shift position(Monday- Friday 3 PM – 11:30 PM)
The Role
Communicates cross-functionally to set & adjust as needed field service activities
Tracks and communicates updates on portable asset service to ensure on-time delivery
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Supports administrative documentation review to support work order reviews
Expands skills in own work area within ananalytical/scientificmethod or operational process
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and/or certifications, as needed
Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within our area of expertise
Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Works with a moderate degree of supervision
The Candidate
High School diploma (required) with 1-3 years of relevant experience or vocational training
Basic mechanical skills and education
Basic hand tools skills
Computer skills / Electronic Work Orders
Associates Degree Preferred
Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
Must be able to work in a clean room manufacturing environment which includes gowning and respirator requirements
Must be able to lift up to 45lbs
Must be able to climb ladders. Use approved fall prevention devices when performing elevated tasks as required.
Must be capable of wearing steel-toed safety shoes
Must be able to transport tools, carts, and required items to and from required service areas
On occasion, must be able to attain and sustain postures required to work in an industrial setting including:
Kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, & other static positions required to perform maintenance task
Overhead reach, pushing, pulling, and hand tool use
Compound tasks including sustained postures including overhead reach with tool use
