Position Summary
Supports TELUS Materials/Services data management & Purchasing, Corporate Store stock allocation and Contract Management.
Functional Responsibilities
1. Creates purchase orders (“POs”) for TELUS SAP-coded material requirements.
2. Manages PO cycle activities including obtaining delivery acknowledgements, later delivery enquiries, and resolving discrepancies.
Qualifications
1. Can build good client relationships, negotiations, and ability to influence Leaders (Manager/Director and above)
2. Takes initiative and ownership of issues and tasks through to resolution.
3. Good Analytical, organizational, reporting, decision-making, problem solving, and innovative-thinking skills.
4. Working Knowledge & understanding of Supply Chain Materials Purchasing and Coordination.
5. Proficiency with Analysis tools MS Excel, SAP; Advanced Excel Capabilities is an asset.Required Language(s)English
