Teradyne has an immediate need for aBusiness Intelligence/Data Warehouse Developerto join our team at our Cebu Facility.
The Business Intelligence/Data warehouse Developer will have the following responsibilities:
Analyze requirements and designs effective BI and Data Warehouse solutions to meet business needs.
Designs, develops and facilitates implementation of BI standards and policies within the development team and throughout the organization.
Coordinate with the rest of the IT group and business users in selecting the appropriate BI tool(s) for each requirement.
Works with business analysts to ensure tight fit between BI environment and business requirements.
Manage and work with BI developers to build standard development processes and reusable components.
Develops BI reports and solutions using best practices.
Develops ETLs (Extract Transform and Load) to load in to Data Warehouse system.
Advocate for the continuous improvement of the standards and best practices within the area of Business Intelligence and reporting.
Troubleshoots BI tool problems and tunes for performance.
Supports development and management of BI training, documentation, and help desk capabilities.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
The Business Intelligence Developer must meet the following mandatory requirements:
4 to 10 years of relevant experience required.
SAP Business Objects & Tableau experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge in SAP Business Objects 4.2 Information Design Tool, Web Intelligence
Deep understanding of Data warehousing theories and techniques and multi-dimensional design
Strong knowledge in ETL (Extract Transform Load) methodologies using tools/scripts and/or have experience doing data integration using ETL tools
Good knowledge of data modeling and star schema concepts.
Ability to comprehend complex technical and logical concepts and adapt quickly to changes
Proven visual design, analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and data bases.
Basic project management skills.
Nice to Haves:
Experience in Dimensional Data Modelling
Knowledge in Tableau
Knowledge in Informatica
Degree or working knowledge in Statistics and Higher Math
Knowledge in Big Data / Data Science.
Unix Scripting.
