Job Description:
Working with the Senior Management Team, Lean Manager is expected to develop, set the pace and implement lean production system and continuous improvement strategy across company businesses and operations. The creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures is expected to aid and improve operational performance.
Job Description: Design Develop centralized Continuous Improvement office Design lean production system and continuous improvement tools Set up an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible lean / CI team Outline direction and deployment of the Lean framework to ensure consistent and rigorous application across the business in line with best practice Develop the train-the-trainer program through standardization of training materials, employing elements or Lean techniques Plan Develop lean implementation roadmap across the company Plan and schedule training (train the trainer) and implementation processes Implementation Deliver and implement lean program and set up production system Implement value stream mapping and production process evaluation Provide necessary training for employees in lean principles and enable them to support continuous improvement ideas Drives targeted, sustainable improvement by leveraging consulting skills and change management processes Supports focused deployment of Lean tools across the organization to assure excellence and operational execution Being sensitivity towards the organisational structure, commercial approach, culture, people and processes. Continuous Improvement Set up measure and production audit system Develop continuous improvement process and feedback loop to review and upgrade lean production system Create and drive lean culture Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an established university Minimum of 7-10 years of lean, six sigma, continuous improvement experience; daily management, strategy deployment, and problem solving in manufacturing environment Minimum 5 years’ experience leading continuous improvement teams, driving transformational change, in manufacturing environment Strong operations/plant/production line leadership and people management experience Demonstrated proficiency applying Lean principles in a variety of situations Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred/Qualified Trainer is advantageous
