Business Development Officer.

In this role you will be expected to build and close business opportunities by identifying and selling network service solutions to client prospects. You will accomplish this in line with the business direction and development programs of the company.

You will maintain relationships with clients, answer and support customer calls and needs. You will work with and lead the support team to ensure the most effective fulfilment of client needs for the continuity of existing business and the creation of new business.

You will be expected to perform account management and meet your monthly, quarterly, and annual business development goals/sales quota.
You will also be expected to support strategic business development and marketing initiatives as needed.

· Identify business opportunities and prospects, generate leads, open opportunities, and analyze service and solution options that best fit the prospects’ needs.
· Perform target identification and create relevant tactical and strategic sales/business development plans.
· Maintain a sales forecast and sales plans that support and synchronize with the company’s business direction.
· Build and maintain a full and active sales/ business development funnel
· Engage in relationship building and consultative selling. Handle the short and long term selling cycle, coordinating multiple stakeholders and the support team. Usher opportunities to closure.
· Understand the client requirements and then customize the product/ services as per their needs. Particularly, identify network and internet service related needs and solutions. Make the necessary proposals and negotiate scope with clients. Make solution presentations outlining the benefits of TSI product and services.
· Close service contacts based on recommended and agreed solutions.
· Meet the established sales/business development quota for the defined period,
· Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, solutions, information, and guidance;
· Identify product/service improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
· Ensure proper account continuity and facilitation through proper use of the customer relationship management system (CRM) and proper coordination with your support team.
· Maintain quality service for your clients by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
· Maintain low account churn through a healthy account relationship and by keeping the organization relevant for the client.
· Ensure accurate reporting to management, through the CRM and other tools and mediums
· Assist in gathering relevant market intelligence and ensure timely reporting of intelligence/
· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in training activities; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing strategic objectives and goals related results as needed.
· Ensure proper servicing and after sales support to clients
· Participate in marketing drive and channel related tactical and strategic campaigns
