Job Description:
THE CANDIDATE
Directs all sales activities within the company and ensures the company’s sales growth year on year. Specifically, ensures that products and services are accessible and convenient to all clients; develops sales plans and strategies; and leads the development of highly competent and driven sales force.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Driver of Sales
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly; forms sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace Implements sales programs by leading the team in the development of field sales action plans. Monitors the efficacy of sales strategies and programs and takes corrective action where needed. Directs the preparation of periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. Business Development
Keeps a close eye on the market and sales activities of competitors and utilizes ideas where appropriate; analyzes and consolidates data for management reporting. Provides input to Business Development and Credit and Collections in the development of new products and services and helps identify areas of profitable business growth. Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs Client Relations Management
Manages key customer relations and participate in closing strategic opportunities; assists RSMs/ RSSs with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. Implements an effective sales pipeline and leads tracking process. Ensures that CRM is being used effectively and provides a competitive advantage; provides feedback to Business Development on improving CRM programs Sales Team Management
Manages the sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth and in adherence to company policies and ethical standards Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programs. Meets with the sales head on a monthly basis to assess company performance against KRs. Ensures the organization has an effective sales training program; continuously develops programs to motivate/optimize sales team. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements. Minimum Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferably Business Course MA units, MA Holder, PhD units or PhD is an advantage but not a requirement Experience
At least 10 years of related work experience Strong Experience in Sales Accounts Management preferably in Financial Services/Finance Established Network and Clients in Finance/Banking Competency Requirements
