The Business Development Manageris responsible for achieving the targeted levels of sales volume. The position also builds relationships with clients to encourage expansion, repeat or replication of and new business opportunities by maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
Ensures that customer accounts are dealt within a timely and efficient manner, addressing any problems that may arise.
Develops accounts, building up regular business and encouraging any new business leads.
Develops and maintains effective business relationships and/or close working practices within relevant departments of account customers within a designated area especially operations, business development and sales departments to secure optimum sales volume of profitable contracts.
Ensures that all procedures are completed and that quality standards are met and suggests any changes that may enhance or improve both the working practices and the quality of the products/services.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of any 4-year course.
At least 2-3 years experience in the same field or industry in a managerial capacity
Technical Competencies: Account Management, Customer Service Management, Product/Service Development, Pricing and Yield Management, Project Management, Sales Strategy Development, Marketing Plan Development, Budgeting, Excellent communication and presentation skills, Business Knowledge, Interpersonal Relationship, General Management, Leadership Skills
Willing to travel
At least 5 years as a Business Development Manager in the Logistics Industry with a winning track record
Preferably from the top 3PL (Third Party Logistics ) companies in the Philippines
Capable of doing Solutions Design and Pricing Models
Capable of working out and reviewing contracts
Has ready pipeline for conversion in 3 months (part of regularization requirement)
Has network in the verticals of Automotives, Pharma, or Electronics. FMCG and Food network is a bonus
