Working within Performance Excellence, a Business Analyst - Reporting will engage with Refinitiv internal customers to interpret information from performance management reporting, to define and document the requirements and manage the implementation of the reports to agreed timelines.
Such complex reports should be done by collaborating with other team members to deliver the required reports on time and with exceptional quality.
The individual will work with Senior Reporting analysts in the team to automate excel routine work using Excel Macros VBA, Access Database, Oracle SQL, Alteryx workflows and present them in Tableau dashboards as self-serve tools.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain existing reports to keep up with additional or changing requirements of the business.
This includes continually optimizing existing reports to improve performance without impacting the result of the report.- Analyze service performance information, understand trends, identify problem areas, and propose remedies where appropriate.- Work directly with internal stakeholders to determine reporting requirements and develop appropriate solutions.- Develop new reports, in any reporting tool as deemed necessary by the company, in accordance with the company standards.- Work with other members in the team to automate excel routine work using Excel Macros, SQL, Alteryx Workflows, Tableau & Power BI- Maintain the existing macros, workflows, dashboards and make changes as needed by business-
- Continually improve knowledge of the business by engaging with customers both from operations and support.- Perform report analysis like deep dive or trend analysis whenever required by the business.- Support migrations.
Qualifications:
- MBA or bachelor's degree required in Finance or Computer Science with experience in an operations Reporting/Analysis environment.- Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.- Knowledgeable and experience in VBA and Macro.- Knowledgeable and experience generating data using Business Objects.- Knowledgeable and experience in building dashboards using BI tools.- Knowledgeable and experience in creating visualization using Tableau or Power BI.- Self-motivated, dynamic (able to respond to changing priorities) and able to work with mínimal supervision (commitment to deliver to agreed timescales).- Strong communication skills - verbal, written and presentation.- Ability to work under pressure and to exacting time scales on occasion.- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
