The Role
As aBranch Auditor, you will perform audit and consulting services based on an established audit work program designed to have an independent and objective evaluation of the risk management, controls, and governance processes of an area or business unit under review. You are expected to perform assurance and non-assurance audit works based on set goals and objectives. You will review assigned processes or accounts in accordance with established guidelines and auditing standards. You will provide administrative support to superiors whenever necessary.
How you will contribute
Drafts audit work programs based on understanding of the objectives, key risks and controls of the area or process under review to help ensure that engagement objectives identified during the planning process are achieved.
Provides inputs to Audit Supervisor during the engagement planning process by sharing information or data gathered from previous audit working papers and related internal and external issues, understanding of the objectives, key risks and controls of the area or process under review to help ensure that an adequate engagement audit plan is developed.
Ensures the completion of assigned areas or processes for review by adhering to the established turn-around time (TAT) to ensure that engagements are closed and related reports are released within the prescribed timelines.
Submits high-quality engagements results or audit write-ups based on the communications criteria set by the standards and Internal Audit Division to facilitate an efficient review of the Audit Supervisors and Audit Managers.
What we’re looking for
Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance,preferably CPA license holder
At least 3 years working experience in accounting, auditing firms, and banking industry
Experience in a banking or financial sector is an advantage
Basic knowledge of internal auditing concepts and principles, and banking operations
High business acumen, leadership skills, communication skills and writing skills
Actively seeks new ways of working to improve efficiency and productivity
