Requirements
At least 24 years age. In good health.

Work Experience
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in automotive electrical work.
Personal Qualities
Good communication skills. Able to train up staff and enforce company rules and regulations. Well organized and active attitude.
Qualifications
Technical College qualification in automotive electrical.
Main Duties
Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions

Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components

Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles

Connecting power-operated equipment and accessories to power supply

Adjusting engine control systems and timing

Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors.

Repairing and replacing faulty ignition and electrical wiring

Able to use diagnostic scanners on all models of motor vehicles.

Servicing of gensets and other electrical machinery and appliances.

Repair and servicing of auto air-cons.

Fixing electronic controls and circuit-boards.

Have the skills and knowledge to test and make accurate diagnostic assessments of electrical faults and rectify these fault.

General all round skills in panel beating, body work and smash repair.
