Audit Specialist-Cpa-Hybrid Set Up

Assists the Audit Manager or Team Lead with the initial risk assessment.
Executes the audit program and processes in accordance with IIA standards.
Prepares and updates working papers depending on the understanding/walkthrough with the auditees.
Analyzes the risk points of the business process being audited, determines the presence of controls, and reports any vulnerabilities discovered.
Consolidates completed test plans and documents audit findings.
Assists the Team Lead/Supervisor in ensuring the Auditee's prompt response.
Suggests corrective actions to improve current business processes.
Assists the Team Lead in monitoring the Auditee's corrective activities to ensure the completion of action plans.
Prepares a performance self-assessment for submission to the Audit Supervisor and/or Team Lead.
Prepares expense reports for submission to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
Performs other relevant tasks


Qualifications:

Graduate of BS Accountancy
Must be a Certified Public Accountant
Being a Certified Internal Auditor is an advantage
Having at least two years of internal or external audit experience in a manufacturing company.
Has a thorough understanding of accounting and financial reporting frameworks (i.e., PAS and PFRS).
Has a fundamental understanding of Philippine tax law (i.e., income tax, withholding, VAT, import/export tariff).
Has moderate competence in auditing standards, techniques, and reporting.
Has basic skills in risk identification, assessment, and management.
Willing to work in Novaliches, Quezon City or the Ortigas, Pasig office.
