MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The Asst.
Manager -HR Tech Change & Release is a key individual that drives the Demand Management, Release Management, Change and Communications Management, Test Management, Feature Adoption, Training and Knowledge Management activities within the Global HR Technology group of Unilever.
JOB SUMMARY:

- End-to-end Demand Management, Release Management, Change and Communications Management, Test Management, Feature Adoption, Training and Knowledge Management process ownership, documentation, strategy, governance, and improvement
- Oversee entrance and exit criteria in system change requests and ensure each phase is compliant as change approver
- Reviews all demands and leads the demand forum making sure that all demands are assigned with the correct priority and to the projects team if in line with project scope instead of devops
- Liaises with HRIT and other expertise teams on change impact including integration management across multiple teams to ensure quality and timeliness
- Responsible for requirement traceability, impact assessment entry and exit criteria, and audit documentation templates
- Work closely with HRIT teams and business stakeholders to define project priority, release schedule, and deliverables
- Responsible for service catalogue and delivering a reliable and repeatable model; define and execute consistent, repeatable processes
- Work with HRIT Audit Lead to ensure processes complies with audit and regulatory requirements and adherence to processes, best practices, and templates across teams and liaises with Unilever and Third Party Audit teams
- Design testing strategy, standard, best practices, and methodologies to support the various IT platforms.
Embed and champion usability / user experience testing
- Work with the HRIT teams to develop baseline test plans and updated existing test plans when needed
- Help in building the testing plan while being engaged early during the project lifecycle of business-critical initiatives
- Drive the automation of unit and regression testing.
Seek opportunities for automation and work with associated teams to transition from manual processes where possible
- Leads monthly service review meetings, drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and backlog management
- Drive utilization of Workday community, Office Hours and Named-Support Contact access
- Recognize a potential live service issue through system advisory and activate the incident communication process
- Liaises with Global Process Owners and drive alignment to global ways of working through creation of impactful presentations, facilitation of networks and forums to share information
- Support the team in creating simple to understand position papers outlining options and recommendations based on solutions identified
- Work with the HRIT team to maintain Knowledge-Based Articles and degreed pathways for end users from incidents, process, and system changes
- Explore, utilize, and innovate using collaboration and communication channels to drive local and global adoption of system features and process changes
- Manage the content and materials of the HRIT external site including user guides, templates, FAQ, recorded demos, portal content, etc
- Work with the UniOps communication team to ensure HRIT messages are focused, effective, and timely and reach the required target audience through all available means
- Work with tenant management team to create release calendar and tenant refresh schedule across teams
- Seek opportunities for automation and work with associated teams to transition from manual processes where possible
- Manage the content and materials of the HRIT internal and external site and ensure proper documentation, storage, and accessibility of Administrator Guides, Baseline Test Templates and Process Templates of all HRIT processes
- Liaise with the Hire-to-Retire, Talent & Rewards, Core Platform and other expertise teams on testing and configuration standards
- Create, review, and refine administrator guides and templates to simplify, drive efficiency and improve service
- Work with HRIT leads to develop internal and 3rd party configuration and testing capabilities and address skills gap
- Drive utilization of Workday training and essential skills training available in Unilever
- Support service introduction, service management, configuration management, project management, onboarding and offboarding activities of HRIT
- Be an active member of the Workday Community to ask questions and provide answers to Workday and fellow customers, as well as to keep up to date on the latest Workday product developments and events on Testing
- Create and deliver high level stakeholder updates and drive calls attended by HRIT Directors and Managers
