The Associate Manager for Supply Chain monitors all domestic last mile and international B2B and B2C shipments. Main duties include to monitor and improve the compliance of international shipments to the regulations of the Philippine Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) as well as to monitor and improve the last mile delivery KPIs of domestic shipments. The Associate Manager - Supply Chain works closely with Freight Forwarders and 3PLs to ensure a flawless customer experience throughout the end to end supply chain using recurring performance reviews and re-negotiations of SLAs and cost.
Responsibilities
Monitoring the performance of domestic and international shipments based on defined core KPIs
Preparation of weekly Supply Chain reporting. Generation of recommendations based on past performance
Ensuring compliance with customs regulations of all countries to which the company is importing/exporting goods from/to
Review, manage and maintain shipment documentation, import freight rates, regional landed costs and insurance reports
Periodic performance review with Freight Forwarders and 3PLs to assess core KPI and SLA compliance
Continuously source for alternative international / domestic routes that would improve core KPIs/SLAs
Build, maintain and improve effective working relationships with ZALORA Regional Supply Chain team as well as will local and international Freight Forwarders and 3PLs
Facilitate the transition to new shipping / last mile routes
Monitoring and reporting of excesses, under-deliveries, damages and defectives with the Finance-OPS team
Requirements
Graduate of Engineering, Mathematics, Economics and Business Management related courses
Preferably 3+ years experience with BOC and BIR regulations related to importing and exporting
Knowledge in local logistics operations preferred
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge in Tableau or similar data visualization tools & Statistics tools preferred
Able to manage key stakeholders & cross-functional key performance indicators
