As an Associate Manager for Markeplace Acquisition in our Marketplace department, you become part of a high performance team and bring great fashion to Zalora’s customers. You develop and grow the portfolio of Zalora marketplace sellers, reporting into the Head of Marketplace. Your responsibilities will include lead generation, pitch coordination, acquisition pitches and converting partners to work with Zalora for increased business performance. Your working location will be Zalora’s offices in BGC, Taguig.
Responsibilities:
Acquire new strategic partners and sellers with relevant assortment for Zalora customers
Draft and align pool of potential suppliers for lead generation
Establish first contact and serve as the first interface between Zalora and prospective partners
Introduce Zalora and the Marketplace opportunity to prospective suppliers
Negotiate commercial terms, align on contract details and operational execution
Facilitate a smooth handover of sellers to Onboarding and Account Management
Establish, develop and manage seller relationships
Identify seller-related issues and manage proper resolutions, as well as process improvements
Creatively provide solutions to commercial and operational challenges for our partners
Work with Account Managers to identify and profile high-potential sellers

Required competencies:
Degree in business, management, sales or related field
Proven 4-5 years experience in fashion or e-commerce sales, account management, buying
Fashion-savvy with an excellent understanding of the retail industry & assortment management
Result driven and detail-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly proactive and able to solve issues efficiently
Hands-on multi-tasker, willing to go the extra mile
Highly adaptable in a fast-pace environment
