Associate, Commercial Product Development

The Commercial Product development team is responsible for delivering new products to achieve acceleration of the business and to open up new revenue streams. The individual in this role is responsible for taking new product concepts and guiding them through the development and go to market phases. You will be expected to work across cross-functional teams and lead multiple active projects at one time.
Prepare quarterly assortment plan for new seasonal and everyday development
Identify new and innovative introductions that will enhance the product assortment based on trends, competitive and market learnings and growing sub-categories
Work with sourcing teams to identify and create new gifting products including gift boxes, bundles and new add-ons
Work with procurement and quality assurance teams on floral pricing, quality and availability
Run weekly product commercialization meetings communicating information regarding product assortment
Prepare and maintain margin calculations
Oversee hard good database tracking is up to date and accurate
Oversee that line lists, assortment plans, margin and live date list files are maintained and accurate
Execute all deliverables on time to ensure appropriate timelines are being met
Oversee all creative aspects of new product development including product copy and photography
Present assortment plans to management and cross functional departments
Oversee the creation of the Design Resource Guide and the development of “how-to” design tips and videos for florists to ensure arrangement replication

QualificationsBachelor's degree or related experience in product development, merchandising, marketing or operations
1-3years experience in product development, merchandising or commercial teams
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly collaborative environment
Ability to multitask and adapt to change
Ability to explore the market and apply learning’s for product development
Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products
Floral knowledge and / or Design capability not required but is a plus
