Assistant Vice President - Procurement Head

Job Description:
This requirement is for Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc., the infrastructure arm of Aboitiz. The Assistant Vice President - Procurement Head is responsible for the following:


Procurement and Supply Chain Management Develop and implement an annual procurement and materials management plan based on Business Unit (BU) and Corporate Strategic Unit (CSU) forecasted material requirements for the succeeding year(s) Direct and manage the procurement of goods and services required by BU and CSU to ensure that goods and services are available within the specified time of usage and at the most cost-effective terms Lead the negotiation for the best price and terms of goods and services to be procured taking into consideration quality, cost, and timeliness of the procurement Oversee the contract development and management of goods and services to be procured Lead the development, management ,and updating of procurement and materials management policies, procedures and systems to support tendering, contracts management, spend analytics, and supplier performance management Develop a centralized procurement program for the BU and CSU that will promote efficiency across the different units Lead the development and maintenance of supply chains to ensure the availability of a sufficient number of qualified suppliers for all goods and services to be procured Lead the periodic assessment of suppliers for their continuous accreditation, de-accreditation, or re-activation Personnel Management Lead and motivate the procurement team and ensure that they receive the support, training, and development necessary for them to achieve their deliverables Periodically evaluates the performance of the procurement team to ensure that deliverables are met individually and as a group Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor's Degree Must have at least 10 years of experience in procurement With relevant work experience in supply management or related tasks
