Assistant Sales Manager

The ideal candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities for the company.
By using a consultative and strategic approach, this person will use his/her expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Duties and Responsibilities


Recognizes marketing opportunities and develops sales leads
Drafts and delivers sales pitches and product presentations.
Travels to areas where opportunities and needs are projected.
Ensures quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of the product.
Develops and implements sales strategy and setting sales targets.
Initiates after-sales support based on client requirements and feedback.
Monitors sales targets and documenting sales performance metrics.
Ensures competitiveness of product by analyzing and researching industry trends.
Requirements



A bachelor's degree in Marketing or any Business-related course.
With vast experience in the retail and distribution industry.
With relevant sales experience in hotel and restaurant supply and/or consumable.
Experience in different sales segment is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of marketing and sales strategies.
Has handled large transactions/business deals.
Ability to explain and demonstrate product specifications and functionalities.
Ability in negotiating sales deals, contracts, and service agreements.
Ability to evaluate client feedback and provide after-sales service.
In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior, as well as industry trends and innovation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Highly values honesty and integrity.
