Assistant Accounting Manager

- Research, analyze, recommend, implement or communicate practices and procedures in accounting functions
- Apply creative problem-solving skills and analytical assistance to co-workers and management on technical accounting and system-related events and matters
- Provide functional advice in accounting policy and procedures
- Provide general guidance and leadership to junior members of the accounting and finance teams
- Developing recommendations and reports based on audits and presenting these ideas to Finance Manager and/or Senior Management
- Prepare foreign entity financial statements and supporting schedules to support the financial statement reporting, tax and audit processes.
- Assist in the analysis and reconciliation of financial activity recorded to the general ledger in a timely manner to facilitate monthly and quarterly financial reporting for the entities
- Participate in the monthly and quarterly corporate financial close procedures and participate in the preparation of internal financial reporting deliverables
- Understand and document significant transactions to support internal financial reporting, annual foreign subsidiary financial statements and the annual audit processes
- Handle ad hoc projects as assigned
