We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Manager to oversee multiple branches of a popular casual dining restaurant in the Cebu region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, team development, brand consistency, and profitable growth across all Cebu-based outlets. This role also serves as the regional lead for expansion efforts, location scouting, and execution of local initiatives aligned with national strategies.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Regional Operations Oversight Supervise daily operations of all Cebu branches to ensure consistent service quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Conduct regular store visits and operational audits, identifying areas for improvement. Resolve store-level issues efficiently and implement corrective action plans. 2. People Management & Development Lead, coach, and support Store Managers to improve performance, staff engagement, and retention. Foster a positive and accountable team culture focused on high standards and continuous learning. Ensure branches are adequately staffed, with proper training and scheduling in place. 3. Sales & Profit Optimization Monitor and evaluate branch performance using sales data and key financial indicators. Collaborate with managers to improve seating capacity utilization, cost control, and labor efficiency. Drive local initiatives for upselling, guest satisfaction, and customer retention. 4. Campaign Execution & Brand Compliance Oversee implementation of national and regional marketing campaigns. Ensure promotional activities are properly executed and evaluated for effectiveness. Maintain visual merchandising and branding consistency across all outlets. 5. Audit & Compliance Conduct monthly operational and food safety audits in all branches. Ensure all locations comply with brand standards, health and safety regulations, and local ordinances. 6. Regional Expansion & Market Growth Identify and recommend new store locations within Cebu through market analysis and field research. Coordinate with real estate contacts, mall developers, and lessors to explore leasing opportunities. Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies, providing expansion proposals to leadership. Offer insights into the local competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and economic trends. 7. Reporting & Communication Submit detailed weekly reports on store performance, campaign outcomes, operational challenges, and expansion opportunities. Serve as the communication bridge between Cebu teams and head office departments (Operations, HR, Supply Chain, Marketing, etc.). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of multi-store management experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proven track record in improving operations, team performance, and store profitability. Willing to travel regularly within the Cebu region.
