Area Manager

Job Description:
Area Managers are in charge of the overall management of designated project sites & trails within Masungi Georeserve in pursuance to its vision-mission.


Vision & Mission: To be a top geotourism destination in Asia through environmental conservation, education and sustainable development via geotourism.


The Area Manager is expected to lead all field operations in coordination with the Overall Project Manager. This particular opening is for the Legacy Trail & Masungi Geopark project. This includes:


Supervising and monitoring team members as they perform their operating checklists for reforestation, maintenance (facilities, trail, and landscaping) and service delivery Leading service delivery & experience quality on the Legacy Trail Leading and performing training and development initiatives for team members being integrated into the project Community relations Other important tasks he or she may be assigned to The role requires strong leadership skills with minimal supervision needed. For non-locals, on-site housing may be discussed. Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements


Passion for environmental conservation and the outdoors; Strong leadership skills managing a diverse set of people and community members; Critical thinking and problem solving skills on the field; Good communication and negotiation skills; Attention to detail on maintenance of property, trails, gardens and structures; Willing to work mostly outdoors in the project site at Baras, Rizal (1.5 hours from Metro Manila); At least 2 years experience in relevant roles
