Job Description:
Trail Managers are in charge of the overall management of designated project sites & trails within Masungi Georeserve in pursuance to its vision-mission to be a top geotourism destination in Asia through environmental conservation, education and sustainable development.
The Trail Manager is expected to lead all field operations in coordination with the Overall Project Manager. This particular opening is for the Legacy Trail & Masungi Geopark project. This includes:
Supervising and monitoring team members as they perform their operating checklists for reforestation, maintenance (facilities, trail, and landscaping) and service excellence delivery Leading experience design and service excellence quality on the Legacy Trail for guests Together with the Learning & Development Officer & Human Resource Officer, leading and performing training, well-being and development initiatives for community members being integrated into the project Conducting community relations with attention to environmental education Other important tasks he or she may be assigned to by the Project Manager Minimum Qualifications:
Passion for environmental conservation and the outdoors; Ability to systematise, monitor, and constantly innovate on operations; Attention to detail on maintenance of property, trails, gardens and structures; Eagerness to work mostly outdoors in the project site at Baras, Rizal (1.5 hours from Metro Manila); Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Strong leadership skills managing a diverse set of people (guests and community members); The role requires independence, with minimal supervision needed. For non-locals, on-site housing may be discussed; At least a 1 year experience in relevant roles; Experience in field monitoring and maintenance is not mandatory and may be learned from the Project Manager, Maintenance & Engineering Heads;
