Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, develop and monitor the day to day operations of the Accounts Receivable team and activities to ensure the delivery of SLA’s and KPI’s. Lead the delivery of Shared Services Objectives based on the principle of superior Customer Service, continuous improvement and best practice management techniques
Facilitate and build relationships of the team with the internal & external customers
Provide effective stakeholder’s management and engagement. Manifest Accountability in resolving issues, disputes, and creating appropriate action plans to ensure mutual goals are achieved
Continuosly guide, coach and develop direct reports to lift productivity & optimize effectiveness of the process and their performance to maximize efficiency and to minimize cost. Manage Team workflow and plan resources
Recognize and correct the barriers coming from the operations, by developing innovative solutions and continuous improvements through regular review of the procedures and processes
Ensure Goodyear compliance to Controls, SOX and other applicable policies and procedures in all respect
Qualifications:
Bachelors/College Degree in Accountancy
Minimum 5 years experience as an AR Manager/Lead in a high volume transaction
Minimum 5 years experience of coaching and leading people
Proven record of country migration into a Shared service center
Acted as a Project Lead, Process Improvement driver and Change agent
Experience of SAP and ERP systems
Experience of Receivables process Automation and Systems Solutions
Previously worked in a high volume environment - Customer and transactional
Previously lead medium size and diverse team
Detailed knowledge of Accounts Receivable process, solid financial analysis and problem-solving skills
High-level of proficiency in various computer applications including Intermediate Excel skills
Strong project and change management skills, familiarity with project management approaches and tools required
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong people leadership skills, people development experience, proven ability to lead, motivate and train
Detail oriented, strong planning and work flow management, superb organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Interpersonal and relationship building in an intercultural environment
