Job Description

- We are seeking an application test engineer to verify that the design of Voltech products can successfully test the breadth of the wound components available on the market.
- A successful candidate should understand the different types of transformers and the critical attributes that our customers need to evaluate. The candidate will design solutions based on this market knowledge to confirm the capabilities of Voltech’s designs and provide feedback to the design team.
- Design and test applications for Voltech Products
- Verify developed products are ready to ship to customers.
- Document test procedures.
- Write reports indicating faults encountered in the testing process.
- Develop software solutions to improve the coverage and speed of application testing.
- Participate in discussions of problems and assist in arriving at solutions that fit within the framework of the project.

Qualifications

- 4-year degree level in an engineering discipline.
- Two or more years of experience.
- Ability to write code in VB.NET or C# for automation of testing.
- Possess strong communication skills to identify requirements from the sales team and provide feedback to the development team.
- Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continuously improve knowledge.
- Capable of working to deadlines and follow a planned schedule of work.

Working hours

Monday – Friday: 5pm-2am
