Application Support Developer

Job Description:
This position is responsible for Application Support and Development with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness.


The primary purpose of the position is to support and develop corporate systems and provide level II Support.


Experience in the area of Medical Systems and Transcription is desirable.


The ideal candidate should have an Application Development background with the ability to quickly learn new development skills.


This position will work with Business units and the Technology Group.


Job Duties In Brief:


Application Support • Administer and resolve support requests coming from application users.


• Effectively communicate with the user community.


• Assist other IT support teams with queries around applications integration issues.


• Run ad-hoc database queries to troubleshoot issues.


• Troubleshoot and isolate issues effectively and efficiently at the database and application code levels


Development • Design and Develop application interfaces as small standalone functionality and as part of larger integrated applications.


• Maintain and enhance existing applications/websites and its functionalities.


• Develop SQL functions and design database objects to support application functionality.


• Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality.


Analysis • Perform analysis of application interfaces and transport mechanisms to integrate different enterprise applications.


• Coordinate the release process with business groups, operations and change management.


• Communicate detailed descriptions of functionality changes and provide follow up support as required.


Testing • Support QA testing.


• Provide direction & support to the Business Divisions for User Acceptance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Background/Qualifications:


• Well-rounded individual capable of performing several roles.


• Willing to work on shifts as assigned (AM, PM, and Graveyard). • At least Bachelor's/College Degree, BS ECE, BSCoE, BSCS, MSIT, BSIT or its equivalent.


• Possesses a high degree of initiative.


• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English.


• Other technical duties to performed as assigned.


Work Experience and Technologies.:


• Minimum of 2 years technical experience as a Developer or other technical position


• Experience with the SDLC


• MS SQL Server 2008


• ASP.Net


• MVC 4 and Entity Framework.


• C# and .Net Framework 4.0


• MS SQL TSQL Programming


• Web APIs


• C# Winforms experience


• CSS, Javascript and Front-end technologies.


• IIS Server Performance Tuning, Remote Debugging and Load Testing.


• Knowledgeable in Azure cloud development.


• Wordpress development and Elementor.


• IIS and Azure configuration.
