Must have skills has good experience in Java. Java 8, J2EE, POSTGRES, Junit Testing (Main Requirements) Required (Should be learned before onboarding) Java 8, J2EE, JDK 7,8, Jax-rs, JPA, JAX-B, POSTGRES, REST pattern, GIT, TFS, JUnit Testing : They need to be able to look at an existing project/framework and figure out how to implement things properly/effectively (project is a startup and there's a lot of improvement that team may need to work on- codes needs to be cleaned out in time). Nice to have skills Good Communications Skills who can work directly with the client and onshore team, Has experience on working Agile-Scrum. Has strong personality and can work under pressure.
