Api & Backend Developer

We are looking for an API & Backend Developer to build and implement functional programs who will work with other developers throughout the software development life cycle. Duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix errors, improve its performance and upgrade interfaces.

What will you do?
Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
Integrate software components and third-party programs
Verify and deploy programs and systems
Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
Recommend and execute improvements
Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure

Coding Languages & Tools
Good understanding in front-end technologies:

- HTML 5, & CSS or SCSS
- JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as Vue Js, React Js or Angular Js
Familiarity with the following is a plus:

- OWASP security principles
- DevSecOps
- Linux servers
- Microservice
- AWS

What you need to have?
Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related degree
Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
1 - 2 years in software development or any API development.

Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.

Experience with database (MSSQL,MYSQL) and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM).
Experience with Python, Nodejs
Experience using code repository technologies (Github, Gitlab, etc.)
Understanding of OOP or MVC design patterns
Problem-solving and logical thinking
Computer programming and coding
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Accuracy and attention to details
Software testing and debugging
Written and verbal communication
Teamwork
