The Analyst Security and GRC , Client Audit Services will be responsible for coordination and execution of client driven and/or all Business Unit audit activities, Client contractual self-assessments/compliance and RFPs for APAC and EMEA regions The Auditor supports the Sr Auditor Client Audit Services in ensuring that all audit and assessment activities are carried out in an efficient and effective manner. The Auditor responsibilities include all activities surrounding pre-audit self-assessments by control owners, planning for scheduled audits, coordination with appropriate control owners, gathering of evidences required along with research of legal and compliance issues, scheduling of audit interviews, tracking of open issues and validation procedures for resolved issues and Conducting and managing Internal Self assessments as per the client contract along with requisite client reporting. Client driven audits which require verification of internal controls can range from self-assessments to client onsite audits to independent auditor service organization reports. The incumbent will also coordinate and deliver training programs as appropriate and initiate changes in procedures due to new or revised regulations.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
Work closely with Consultant Client Audits and Compliance in all aspects of audits and assessments.
Support independent reviews of CNX internal control environment for service organization reporting standards (e.g. SSAE 18, ISAE 3402).
Understand and comply with internal procedures for coordinating and documenting audit activities.
Update audit repository sites to reflect current status of audit activities and issue remediation.
Work with Control owners to conduct pre-audit assessments of compliance with client contractual requirements and internal controls and review client contracts for right-to-audit terms or other internal control requirements.
Schedule and lead planning meetings with internal control owners in preparation for audits.
Identify risk areas and coordinate with internal issue owners to ensure remediation deadlines are met and to validate that proper issue closure actions have been completed.
Identify control weakness trends across multiple clients or industries and communicate to relevant stake owners .
Assist with the preparation of audit activity status reporting on a monthly or as-needed basis.
Make recommendations for improvements in internal procedures that will result in time savings or operational efficiencies.
Perform research on regulatory requirements, industry standards or trends, as needed.
May support development of compliance training specific to client industry requirements with updates on regulatory changes and impacts on current processes.
