GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
TheAnalyst IIis responsible for coordinating, conducting and documenting financial analysis activities and projects. This person assists management in identifying and improving financial and operational issues.
Identify, research and evaluate complex and diverse financial and operational issues
Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions including the capital improvment forcasting and maintenance vs capital expenditures.
Perform analytical review of monthly management report
Assist with annual budget process
Review procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
Provide support to renew the Cost Model model and components that build out the model.
Liaison with operations to improve billing efficiency
Work to improve data quality and collection process to meet changing needs of the organization.
Research, design and document financial procedures or systems
Recommend new or improved policies and procedures to reflect business needs
Establish and maintain relationship with other departments to improve data collection
Continually develop and improve billing systems and technology
Perform month-end analysis as requested
Continually look to implement process improvements
Provide support to Finance Manager on ad hoc projects as needed
Manages forecasting for the Business Director and Manager of Finance
Manages and maintains corporate credit card program and associated reward programs
Ensures appropriate controls are in place related to the activities of invoice processing to ensure data and distribution errors and duplicate payments are prevented
Provides support to Billing Manager in the set-up of new accounts and initial processing of billing invoices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably with a focus in Accounting or Finance
EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
3-5 years of financial analysis experience
Service Industry and/or international financial experience a plus
EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE
Advanced knowledge of all office equipment
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and Presentation Software
