Job Description
Record technical issues and solutions in logs
Install desktop applications to meet user needs
Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
Learn and develop skills in information technology to include but not limited to hardware & software troubleshooting, networking of computers, audio/visual setup & asset management
Develop skills to communicate with IT professionals who specialize in Deskside Engineering and End-User Services
Assist staff in performing system backup and maintenance functions.
Assist in installation of PC hardware and software.
Assist in network and hardware troubleshooting.
Assist in performing preventative maintenance.
Assist Deskside Engineer (or designee) with current projects.
Perform special projects as determined by the Lead.
Assist in updating user and technical documentation.
Gain hands on practical experience to the full gamut of Deskside roles and responsibilities.
Run calls to troubleshoot desktop problems for Macintosh and PC computers.
