Position: Medical Assistant

Work Set-up & Shift: Onsite | Night Shift

Job Responsibilities:
PARS for medications and procedures
Referral coordination to specialist
Record requests from hospitals or specialist
Give instructions to patients as instructed by Nurse Practitioner
Ensure all related reports, labs and information are filed and available in patients' medical records prior to their appointment
Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls
Manage a high volume of patient visits
Patient Education
Qualifications:
Experienced Medical Assistant with a preferred minimum of 2 years experience
Experience in mental health or primary care a plus
EMR (electronic medical record) experience required
Nursing Degree is a plus
