TheAcquisition Headplays an integral role in new business pitches and holds responsibility for the effective on boarding of new clients. He or She is also expected to propose new initiatives, plans and programs to improve the effectiveness of sales acquisition by keeping abreast with market trends and monitoring competitors’ activities.
Responsibilities:
Directs, monitors and leads the development of sales strategies, business plan, projects and budget in line with the company’s overall objectives.
Proposes new initiatives, plans and programs to improve the effectiveness of sales.
Develops, monitors and leads sales performance against pre-set KPIs in line with corporate strategies and recommends corrective actions accordingly.
Develops and monitors the implementation of innovative methods to increase direct sales, business accounts, expand markets and promote business in the assigned areas.
Ensures sales segments’ profitability and attain sales targets across the assigned areas and control departmental expenditure within the agreed budget
Keeps abreast with market trends and monitor competitors’ activities
Actively engages in building and maintaining strong relationships with key business partners
Leads assigned team to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity and goal accomplishment
Performs any other duties related to the job as assigned
Qualification:
Must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Business Administration, Management or any related course.
With 5 to 12 years of working experience in Business Sales including 3 years’ experience in a senior management role within Business Sales, preferably in Telco or FMCG
With strong business sense and industry / area expertise
With demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing
Proven track record of quota attainment
Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
