ROLE DESCRIPTIONThe primary purpose of the Accounts Payable Manager/Team Lead are:
1. Manage AP Shared Services team in Philippines2. Lead a team3. Manage the AP Ticketing tool
4. Manage, coach and develop a proactive teamDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESManage AP Shared Services:Oversee full cycle accounts payable by:
o Ensuring that all invoices have been processed and recorded accurately in timely mannerso Releasing invoices that are being blocked for payment in timely manners.o Ensuring vendor reconciliation are being prepared correctly in timely manners.o Ensure that invoice disputes are resolved and/or minimized by working closely with internal team (Purchasing, Customer Services, Sales, Finance)
o Responds to inquiries on invoice status and disputeso Ensure that AP Ticketing tool are up and running, suggest or make recommendations for improvement of the tool as necessaryPeople and Team handling by:
o Providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to all subordinateso Develops and maintains positive, professional attitude always and delivers outstanding service for both internal/external stakeholders.Ability to multi-tasks as the need ariseEvaluate existing processes and make recommendations for improvement that will enhance work efficiencies.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONDesired Qualifications and Skills:Degree in Business Administration/AccountingBPO ExperienceAt least 5 years of relevant experience
Managed a teamStrong analytical, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Able to meet tight reporting deadlinesERP knowledge - SAPExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working in a cross functional company, with interaction with other business streams.
Good understanding of vendor and/or distributor operationsUnderstanding of related finance processes
